Inventory Control Specialist

What you will do

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Record count results, make authorized system adjustments, and maintain cycle count logs and inventory reports.
• Investigate inventory variances, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to validate stock movements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor storage, labeling, handling, and item placement; correct process and labeling issues with warehouse staff.
• Support physical inventories, audits, and improvements to inventory control processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus WMS or ERP software.
• Experience with RFID process utilization and implementation.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventory, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, accurate data entry, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
