TL;DR
Director, USAF Growth Campaign Leader (X-BAT Family of Systems) (USAF/X-BAT): Leading the integrated operating cadence for concurrent U.S. Air Force pursuits across the X-BAT Family of Systems with an accent on campaign health, cross-functional dependencies, executive decision support, and investment prioritization. Focus on synchronizing GTM, engineering, product, finance, legal, export, and operations teams, resolving resource conflicts, and driving critical RFI, RFP, CSO, and other solicitation responses.
Location: Washington, D.C. / Dallas, Texas; on-site in the United States.
Company
hirify.global develops defense technology, including autonomous aircraft and systems for government and military applications.
What you will do
Own the authoritative USAF campaign picture across concurrent X-BAT Family of Systems pursuits, including strategy status, critical paths, milestones, dependencies, decision points, and campaign health.
Enable GTM leads with templates, playbooks, data, competitive inputs, cost and schedule inputs, and cross-functional access needed to execute capture plans.
Coordinate engineering, product, export, legal, contracts, finance, government relations, and business operations against a prioritized campaign plan.
Identify cross-campaign conflicts involving aircraft, test windows, engineering capacity, approval bandwidth, or indirect investment, and present executive tradeoffs and recommendations.
Run campaign reviews, gate reviews, risk registers, action tracking, executive dashboards, bid/no-bid reviews, investment prioritization, and campaign-health reporting.
Drive critical customer responses including RFI, RFP, CSO, and other solicitation vehicles while GTM leads retain ownership of win strategy, price-to-win, and proposal content.
Requirements
U.S. person under ITAR (22 CFR 120.62), with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and Special Access Program eligibility.
12–20+ years of experience in capture management, program management, strategic operations, business operations, technical program management, or a comparable cross-functional leadership role.
Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives with interdependent workstreams across engineering, business development, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
Working knowledge of USAF funding and fielding processes, including SAF/AQ and HAF staffing, PEO and program-office dynamics, PPBE/POM, OTAs, CSOs, SBIR/STRATFI, AFWERX, and prototype-to-program-of-record transition.
Ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across functions and geographies.
Strong executive communication skills, including leadership briefings, dashboards, metrics, and decision-support materials.
Operational rigor in integrated schedules, critical paths, milestones, action tracking, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with competing priorities across multiple time zones.
Service orientation toward GTM leads and judgment about when to escalate versus resolve issues independently.
Nice to have
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and current Special Access Program accesses.
Experience supporting DoW, aerospace, autonomy, robotics, aviation, or defense-technology organizations.
Experience in business development, capture, proposal operations, strategic planning, or growth organizations managing concurrent U.S. Government pursuits.
Familiarity with foreign disclosure determinations, FMS/DCS pathways, and security cooperation planning.
Experience building executive dashboards, KPIs, operational scorecards, or portfolio health metrics.
Experience supporting executive staff, chief-of-staff organizations, Strategy and Operations teams, or enterprise PMOs.
Fluency with integrated schedule and work-management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
An advanced degree or relevant certification such as an MBA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.
Culture & Benefits
Work is performed on-site in Washington, D.C. or Dallas, Texas.
Core values are Do What Honor Dictates, Live as a Servant Leader, and Pursue Excellence.
Servant leadership is central to the role, with success measured by the outcomes of supported GTM leads.
Veterans and transitioning service members are actively supported, particularly those with U.S. Air Force operational, staff, or acquisition experience.
