Senior Program Manager (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Hollister, California, United States

Salary: $130,200–$241,800 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Manage customer programs, including schedules, budgets, forecasts, contractual requirements, and profitability.
• Lead major proposal efforts, coordinate cross-functional teams, prepare proposal materials, and submit pricing recommendations.
• Develop business opportunities with existing and new customers and maintain customer relationships.
• Conduct contract negotiations and manage scope changes, work authorizations, and program deliverables.
• Track program risks, maintain mitigation plans, and present program reviews to management and customers.
• Provide training and direction to lower-level Program Managers and travel as program or customer requirements dictate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing with technical program experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8–10 years of program management experience in a technical and manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience managing multiple programs with annual revenues exceeding $30 million.
• Strong understanding of program financials, including estimate to complete and estimate at complete forecasting.
• Experience with aerospace/defense sole-source proposals, TINA-compliant cost volumes, and contract negotiations for awards exceeding $2 million.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual and export-control requirements.
