Sr. Program Manager (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Hollister, CA, United States

Salary: $101,500–$188,500 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead customer programs and major proposal efforts from planning through delivery.
• Manage program schedules, budgets, forecasts, expenditures, ETC/EAC updates, and profit and loss responsibility.
• Develop customer relationships, fulfill contractual requirements, and negotiate assigned contracts with the Contract Manager.
• Coordinate Business Development, Contracts, Procurement, Production, Finance, and Engineering activities.
• Prepare pricing recommendations, proposal responses, management presentations, and program review reports.
• Provide training and direction to lower-level Program Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing with technical program experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8–10 years of program management experience in a technical manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience leading multiple programs with annual revenues above $30 million.
• Strong understanding of program financials, including ETC and EAC development, risk registers, reserves, and mitigation plans.
• Experience with sole-source aerospace/defense proposals, TINA-compliant cost volumes, contract negotiations, and scope changes.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements.
