Industrial Engineer, New College Grad- Master's (Santa Clara, CA)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; onsite role with 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $90,000–$124,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead strategic projects that streamline business processes, improve supply chain and operations, reduce costs, and improve business performance.
• Analyze current-state processes, quantify opportunities, develop improvement workstreams, secure stakeholder buy-in, and drive implementation across the full project lifecycle.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, analyze large datasets, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Optimize operations and business processes to improve performance, reduce cycle time, and lower costs.
• Develop statistical analyses, machine learning models, algorithms, and data-quality processes for complex datasets.
• Create Power BI mockups, reports, applications, and interactive data visualizations; communicate solutions and support implementation and end-user training using generative AI tools.

Requirements

• Broad understanding and experience in logistics, financial reporting, purchasing, and service business management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to extract insights from multiple data sources and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Experience using statistical programming languages such as Python and SQL to manipulate data and derive insights from large datasets.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including clustering, decision tree learning, and neural networks, and their applications.
• Knowledge and application experience with advanced statistical techniques, including regression, distributions, and statistical tests.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, influence stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to connect information across business and data sources.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma.
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor industry or consulting.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
