Senior Capacity and Strategic Planning Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead long-range capacity planning, scenario development, and supply-demand analysis across multiple technologies and manufacturing sites.
• Develop capacity strategies that balance customer demand, factory capability, capital investments, and financial objectives.
• Evaluate tradeoffs involving capacity, capital, technology transitions, factory space, and manufacturing network optimization.
• Partner with Fab Managers, Factory General Managers, Manufacturing, Technology Development, Finance, Supply Planning, and Operations teams.
• Identify capacity risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare executive-level business cases and recommendations.
• Apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve planning efficiency, scenario evaluation, risk identification, and decision quality.

Requirements

• On-site presence in Arizona, United States is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in capacity planning, strategic planning, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, or semiconductor operations.
• Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and working with manufacturing and factory leadership teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and analytical tools, with experience using AI, automation, or advanced analytics for business decision-making.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, foundry operations, or wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of S&OP, Long-Range Planning, capacity strategy, and capital planning processes.
• Experience applying machine learning, predictive analytics, or optimization techniques in planning or manufacturing environments.
