Quartus User Interface - Intern (C++)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Shift 1 (Canada)

Salary: Estimated CAD 95,000–100,000 annually, with performance-based incentive opportunities.

hirify.global is a standalone FPGA company developing hardware and software systems, including the Quartus design platform.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and document user interface features and infrastructure for the Quartus design flow using C++ and Qt.
• Develop visualization, analysis, and GUI capabilities from concept through productization.
• Investigate issues, debug complex problems, and improve the usability, reliability, and performance of Quartus tools.
• Develop unit, integration, and regression tests using C++, Python, and Tcl.
• Participate in code reviews and other software quality activities while collaborating with experienced software engineers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in software development, user interfaces, visualization, or hardware/software systems.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required Canada export authorizations.
• Canadian work experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Qt, Python, Tcl, software testing, or debugging.
