Frontend Developer (SaaS)

Location: Remote candidates must be based in Canada; Vancouver, British Columbia. Hybrid work is preferred for candidates in PST and remote work for candidates in EST.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 starting annual base salary, excluding bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable frontend code across the cloud-native stack and Salesforce.
• Translate designs into polished interfaces and contribute to the shared component library.
• Own frontend quality across performance, accessibility, semantic HTML, and cross-browser consistency.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, resolve production issues, and provide tier 3 support.
• Design and ship features across existing and emerging products while ensuring solutions support long-term business objectives.
• Participate in monthly spike days focused on collaborative experimentation and product development.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of component-based JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as React, including component architecture.
• Experience with state management, modern CSS, scalable application design, accessibility, semantic HTML, and WCAG compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative development team.
• Must be based in Canada; PST candidates are preferred for hybrid work and EST candidates for remote work.

Nice to have

• Experience with trunk-based development and continuous delivery in AWS or Vercel.
• Experience automating processes with AI or using AI coding agents to deliver frontend interfaces.
• Salesforce ISV experience.
