Senior Frontend Developer (React/Tauri)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the frontend of Haply Hub, a Tauri 2 desktop application paired with a Rust backend.
• Coordinate command and event flows and ship the application across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Build and maintain the public documentation hub, including information architecture, search, and executable code examples.
• Develop the main website, product launch pages, configurators, and integration interfaces for haptic devices and HARP.
• Improve frontend quality through design tokens, componentization, performance, accessibility, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and hardware specialists to turn concepts into reviewed, production-ready interfaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend experience, including at least 3 years with TypeScript and React or Preact.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, accessibility, performance, and browser behavior.
• Working knowledge of Rust and Tauri, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with a modern web framework such as Next.js or Astro and with static-versus-SSR trade-offs.
• Proficiency with GitLab, branches, merge requests, code review, CI pipelines, TDD, and multi-platform development.
• Experience with large enterprise codebases and multi-repository projects, plus strong ownership and proactive communication.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Tauri or Electron desktop applications.
• Experience with documentation platforms such as Docusaurus, Mintlify, or Nextra.
• 3D, canvas, WebGL, or Three.js experience for haptics and robot visualizations.
• Experience with WebSocket and streaming interfaces backed by Rust, Tokio, or Axum.
• Exposure to robotics, haptics, simulation, motion control, or visual design; bilingual French and English.
