Technical Support Trainer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; the role includes in-person and remote training delivery.

Salary: $70,980–$94,640, plus a bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule training deliveries for internal hirify.global Field Service Engineers and external customer operators and maintenance personnel.
• Deliver training in person and remotely using documentation, drawings, models, simulators, verbal knowledge checks, and written knowledge checks.
• Develop training materials and system training packages covering system overviews, subsystems, major assemblies, system operations, and system software operations.
• Collaborate with others to define learning objectives and create training packages based on those objectives.
• Convert existing materials into computer-based training with audio and other multimedia content, upload materials to the Learning Management System, and track course completion and attendance.
• Assist Technical Writers with verifying procedure accuracy and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a degree from a technical university, with 2 years of experience in Technical Support or Field Service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical background in the semiconductor or technical manufacturing field.
• Ability to create training presentations and deliver presentations to small groups.
• Ability to gather, organize, and present information through appropriate media for the specific audience.
• Technical knowledge and background in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work with the Product Marketing group to understand customer requirements, including basic tools and all possible options.
