AGS Training Service Etch New Product (NPI) Instructor (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Santa Clara, California, or Austin, Texas; onsite role with domestic and international travel of up to 40–50%

Salary: $84,000–$115,500 per year

What you will do

• Learn new PLC/NPI tools, chambers, and mainframes, including startup and sustaining production activities.
• Develop, update, and deliver classroom, laboratory, and hands-on technical training.
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate structured factory on-the-job training.
• Lead multiple NPI training development projects, creating student guides and customized materials.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support, maintain training equipment, and ensure safety and system readiness.
• Coach and certify instructors while presenting training at company and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or training plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience; without a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment installation, programming, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, electronics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, power systems, and robot controllers.
• DDP experience, including Producer GT or XP MF experience and DDP Chamber experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, technical writing, and project or information management skills.
• Ability to use technical documentation, schematics, measuring instruments, testing equipment, hand tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work occasional off-shift or weekend training assignments.

Nice to have

• Formal or informal experience in education, performance-based training, curriculum development, or instructional design.
• Nationally recognized instructional design certification.
• Knowledge of Windows applications and computer networking.
• Videography and photography experience.
