Head of North America Workshop Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Atlanta, GA; responsibility across North America. National and international travel required. Legally authorized work in the United States required.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Production Unit managers and operational support functions, including resourcing, succession planning, and competence development.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE, operational, and quality standards.
• Deliver financial targets and improve profitability, cost efficiency, and absorption.
• Oversee capacity, production, quality, inventory, and delivery performance across the workshop network.
• Drive Operational Excellence, Lean, and continuous improvement to shorten lead times, improve quality, and strengthen competitiveness.
• Develop the long-term operational roadmap, workshop footprint, investment priorities, supply chain performance, procurement savings, subcontracting, and corrective actions for major quality and safety issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations or a similar environment.
• Proven experience leading people and delivering financial and operational performance in a complex, multi-site organization.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
