Director of Operations

Location: Remote, supporting the Olive Branch, Mississippi distribution center

What you will do

• Lead multi-shift receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and fulfillment operations across member sampling, e-commerce, and 3PL business lines.
• Own service delivery, capacity planning, operational onboarding, partner relationships, and resolution of client service issues.
• Manage inbound execution, inventory accuracy, parcel and freight performance, carrier relationships, transportation costs, budgets, labor productivity, and staffing plans.
• Lead robotics and automation initiatives, including AMRs, and oversee operational requirements for WMS, WES, and WCS systems.
• Drive standard work, SOP compliance, process mapping, root-cause analysis, quality, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, coach, and develop operations leaders and hourly associates while establishing KPI dashboards and data-driven operating rhythms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in distribution, fulfillment, supply chain, or a related field, including 7+ years managing teams, managers, and multi-shift operations.
• Experience owning operating budgets, cost-per-unit or labor productivity metrics, and high-volume WMS-enabled operations with robotics or automation.
• Experience managing parcel and freight operations, carrier relationships, and staffing plans.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with BI and reporting tools.
• Availability for nonstandard hours during peak periods and ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; Lean, Six Sigma, international shipping, 3PL, and automation implementation experience are beneficial.
