Senior Workday Manager

Location: United States. Roles based outside the Denver office can sit in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or Washington D.C.; state locations and specifics may change.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 base salary plus stock options. Compensation is standardized nationwide and based on experience, competencies, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Own the configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation of Workday and other People Systems.
• Maintain system reliability, data integrity, and alignment with business processes.
• Design, configure, support, troubleshoot, and enhance system functionality, including releases.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and deliver tested improvements.
• Identify and implement process and automation improvements while staying current on system updates.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience configuring, administering, and supporting one or more enterprise business systems within a functional area.
• Proven experience leading improvement projects with measurable results in operational efficiency or service quality.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Experience leading and developing a small team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Knowledge of SOC II compliance and experience supporting internal and external audits involving access and change controls.
• Knowledge of Agile or other iterative project management methodologies.
