Tool Install Project Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Rio Rancho or Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States

Annual salary: $52,000–$200,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage multiple semiconductor construction projects, including tool installations, conversions, and demolition, while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional matrix teams and coordinate contractors, suppliers, architecture and engineering firms, trade partners, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee day-to-day construction operations and translate business and technical requirements into affordable, high-quality designs and solutions.
• Develop supplier partnerships and improve project cost, schedule, quality, and accountability.
• Optimize project execution through innovation and lean construction principles, including sustainability practices and LEED certification initiatives.
• Control project scope, schedule performance, and budget while maintaining a safety culture and preventing factory disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering Management, Project Management, or a STEM-related field plus 3+ years of experience in project construction management, tool owner responsibilities, or equivalent construction leadership expertise; or 4+ years of Military Construction experience.
• Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in project construction management, tool owner responsibilities, or equivalent construction leadership expertise may substitute for a degree.
• Ability to work on-site in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Nice to have

• Expertise in installing process tool equipment.
• Experience managing medium- to large-scale construction projects and programs.
• PMI Professional Project Management Certification (PMP).
