About the Role

You will own company-wide headcount and operating-expense finance. You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and actuals reporting; partner with People, Recruiting, and department leaders; improve planning processes; and prepare executive and board reporting.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive finance experience
• Experience owning headcount or operating-expense planning and reporting
• Financial modeling skills
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
• Experience with planning tools
• Experience partnering with People and Recruiting teams
• Budgeting, actuals reporting, and variance analysis experience
• Communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own headcount planning and forecasting
• Lead annual operating-expense budgeting and in-year forecasting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly actuals reporting and variance analysis
• Maintain rolling headcount and operating-expense forecasts
• Partner with department leaders on budget decisions
• Improve planning, tracking, and reporting processes
• Prepare headcount and operating-expense packages for executives and the board
