FP&A Analyst

Base compensation: $86,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting support to business unit and sub-business unit leaders.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and analysis models for assigned business areas using Adaptive.
• Analyze actual results against forecasts, plans, budgets, and prior-year benchmarks, including mix and cause-of-change analysis.
• Build and quality-assure financial models and views for monthly reporting packages distributed to executive leadership and external stakeholders, and update related MD&A.
• Coordinate with client services, operations, business leaders, and other stakeholders to gather forecasting and budgeting inputs.
• Own FP&A deliveries, respond to ad hoc requests, and contribute to process improvements and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Required MS Office experience, including strong Excel skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain stationary and perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, while maintaining accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field or CPA certification.
• FP&A-specific experience.
• Experience with executive- or board-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with financial and BI tools, specifically NetSuite, Adaptive, Hyperion, or Tableau.
