Security Health Safety Manager

Location: Greater Columbus area, Ohio, United States; the position may be based at one of three locations and requires travel among those locations and to Service Providers.

What you will do

• Manage district security systems, including the Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and access control.
• Coordinate security corrective and preventive actions, investigate district security incidents, and communicate issues to district, regional, and corporate stakeholders.
• Support business continuity planning, security-related business reviews, customer security requirements, audits, and Cargo Signal sales engagements.
• Ensure compliance with local security regulations, hirify.global Security Standards, and CTPAT/AEO/WCO program requirements.
• Conduct service provider onboarding, risk reviews, follow-up on non-compliant items, and monitoring at 90- and 180-day intervals.
• Deliver security awareness, lockdown, trash inspection, and other security-related training while developing a security-conscious district culture.

Requirements

• Written and verbal communication, listening, leadership, emotional intelligence, adaptability, presentation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to influence others to take action and lead change.
• English language proficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Four or more years of operational work experience with hirify.global.
