Electronics Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Wimborne, UK; sole British National required for security contractual compliance.

What you will do

• Support customer discussions and help establish solutions based on cost, timescale, and ease of implementation.
• Analyse existing equipment to define requirements for replacement or refurbishment.
• Carry out electronics design and development work within the area of competence.
• Liaise with suppliers and support the installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
• Produce technical reports identifying preferred actions and explaining the analysis of legacy designs.
• Develop engineering capability across safety systems and instrumentation while maintaining professional customer relationships.

Requirements

• Must be a sole British National due to security contractual compliance.
• Demonstrable skill and experience in electronic or electrical equipment design or maintenance, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or demonstrable industry experience.
• Demonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logic.
• Appropriate technical qualifications in electrical or electronic design, or in instrumentation and control.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and team leaders.
• Ability to produce good oral and written communications.
