Cost Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Cheshire/Warrington, United Kingdom; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Applicants must already have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Provide and manage the cost engineering framework, systems, and resources for major projects.
• Prepare, monitor, and forecast project baselines, expenditure profiles, accruals, and outturn values.
• Produce cost reports and earned value analysis, identify trends and critical issues, and recommend recovery actions.
• Maintain cost control databases, validate data, record commitments, and track budgets and deviations.
• Lead change management, develop contingency drawdown plans, and maintain cash flow projections.
• Support risk processes, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and the development of Assistant Cost Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in cost engineering and project controls for major infrastructure or complex projects.
• Experience with cost forecasting, expenditure tracking, earned versus planned value, and committed versus budget analysis.
• Ability to prepare accurate cost reports and communicate issues and trends to project stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain compliance with approved processes, procedures, and project execution plans.
• Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship is not available.
