Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Nuclear)

Location: Cheshire; regular office work required, so candidates must live within daily commuting distance. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Develop procurement and commercial strategies with demanders.
• Prepare contract documentation and lead tendering processes.
• Manage and progress additional tenders in line with the procurement pipeline.
• Manage live contracts and maintain accurate records in CEMAR, ATAMIS, and the Procurement Plan.
• Support actual cost audits for the new framework and verify costs against the Schedule of Cost Components.
• Complete final accounting for multiple contracts.

Requirements

• Solid experience in NEC contract management.
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with shifting and competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently, manage own workload, and make sound commercial decisions.
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to work regularly in the Cheshire office and live within daily commuting distance.
