Solution Development Lead (Logistics)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, United States; hybrid workplace with flexibility to work remotely as needed based on business demands. Travel up to 20% of the time.

Base pay range: $121,200–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Evaluate new and renewal services, including Resident Maintenance, and develop customer-focused costing for Dematic solutions.
• Analyze customer business requirements and application objectives to design solutions that meet operational needs and uptime guarantees.
• Generate costing workbooks, collect proposal data, develop proposal content, and ensure proposal accuracy with the proposal team.
• Lead or coordinate proposal teams and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments on complex, competitive, and low-risk solutions.
• Review costing methodologies, document non-standard renewal agreements, respond to iProposal tool inquiries, and maintain proposal templates.
• Facilitate project transitions to Operations after contract award and conduct training on estimating and proposal standards.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related discipline or an advanced degree.
• 5–8 years of successful experience in a related field; an advanced degree may substitute for experience where applicable.
• Ability to lead, direct, motivate, and coordinate proposal team activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities with different deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to reliably forecast and report proposal status.
• Ability to work on medium- to large-sized projects involving complex integration of hardware and software.
