Claim Specialist (Cyber Claims)

Location: Remote across the United States

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Handle cyber event intake and coordinate breach counsel, forensic investigators, defense counsel, coverage counsel, and other vendors.
• Participate in after-hours claim intake and incident response coordination as needed.
• Evaluate claim exposure, recommend accurate reserves, analyze liability and damage data, and maintain complete claim documentation.
• Analyze insurance coverage issues, draft coverage letters, and identify settlement opportunities.
• Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including their work and spend, while collaborating on claim defense and resolution.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, insureds, partner carriers, and business contacts, and provide analytical support to underwriting and business development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience adjusting cyber claims.
• Must be a licensed claims adjuster in the state of residence and able to obtain licenses in NY, TX, FL, GA, MI, WA, NC, CT, and AZ.
• Ability to work as part of a team, interact effectively with others, meet deadlines, and perform successfully in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial environment and independently.
