Location: Hybrid, TX - Houston, United States of America

Salary: $85,600.00–$141,200.00 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Manage an active caseload of complex bodily injury and property damage claims and litigation from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Investigate claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability and damages, establish reserves, and issue timely payments.
• Communicate with customers, attorneys, representatives, contractors, vendors, counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop resolution strategies, negotiate settlements, coordinate litigation management, and maintain accurate claim records.
• Identify improvements to claims practices and adapt to technology implementations, including AI-related digital tools.
• Maintain required insurance licenses and travel, including possible overnight stays, for mediations, trials, or arbitrations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred for the broader role profile.
• At least two years of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, or comparable related experience; three years is preferred.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law and ability to obtain and maintain relevant insurance licenses within three months of starting.
• Experience with claims management systems, advanced Microsoft Office and enterprise technology skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, interpret policy language and exclusions, manage disputed claims, negotiate settlements, and handle litigation.
• Strong organization, customer service, judgment, conflict resolution, and composure under pressure.
