Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Hybrid; based in Louisville, KY or Nashville, TN, with onsite presence approximately 1–2 times per week.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year; eligible for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, build, enhance, and support scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise technology solutions for eHub and related business teams.
• Design and optimize Batch, EDI, Clearinghouse, application integration, and large-scale transactional solutions.
• Lead moderately complex to complex technical initiatives, contributing to solution design, implementation approaches, modernization, and lifecycle improvements.
• Analyze recurring issues, performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and operational inefficiencies; implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop automation and apply AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work, improve engineering productivity, and strengthen deployment and testing workflows.
• Collaborate with development, operations, product, architecture, security, and external partners; mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering or systems engineering experience.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications using .NET frameworks and SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure or another cloud platform for application development, deployment, or operations.
• Experience with application integration, batch processing, and large-scale transactional systems.
• Experience with secure engineering practices and enterprise technology standards, including vulnerability remediation, secrets management, and removal of hard-coded credentials.
• Experience analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for contributing to continuous improvement of consumer experiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting healthcare technology platforms or working in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and platform observability.
• Experience with AI-enabled developer productivity tools, intelligent automation, or workflow orchestration.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and reducing technology footprint.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
