Senior Development Engineer

Location: Ebbw Vale, United Kingdom; full-time, onsite role.

What you will do

• Apply engineering principles to develop and improve products, components, and systems.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and analysis to validate product performance and reliability.
• Contribute to product development projects from concept through validation and launch, translating functional requirements into technical specifications and design inputs.
• Monitor technical progress, support milestones, and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and other functions to ensure product feasibility and readiness.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while supporting documentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in product development or engineering roles in an industrial environment.
• Solid technical foundation in a specific engineering domain with the ability to contribute across projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development practices.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and develop effective solutions.
• Experience supporting the technical aspects of product development projects.
• Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Intermediate English and fluent local language skills.
