Trainee Freeform Engineer

Location: Based at the Head office in Lenton, Nottingham, United Kingdom. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00/7:30am–4:00/4:30pm and Friday 7:30am–12:30pm.

What you will do

• Follow a structured training plan within the toolroom team.
• Learn advanced 3D tooling software and create error-free digital files.
• Analyse and enhance plastic miniature designs for injection mould tooling.
• Discuss design adjustments with miniature designers and other design teams.
• Check completed work and export parts for tool designers producing steel mould tools.
• Continuously identify ways to improve accuracy and working practices.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 4 in Maths and English.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn advanced software packages.
• Genuine interest in engineering and a focus on developing an engineering career.
• Meticulous attention to detail, precision, patience, and dedication.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work from the Nottingham head office during the specified UK working hours.
