Data Analyst 2: Inventory (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

What you will do

• Own the intake, management, integrity, flow, and accuracy of data used by the Inventory Audit Programs team.
• Champion data needs and priorities with cross-functional business and data partners across hirify.global.
• Create data narratives, trends, insights, reports, dashboards, and KPIs that support business improvement and strategic decisions.
• Support data design, program initiatives, testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Support business analysts with accurate and complete reporting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain data usage guidelines and support modernization of reporting and data visualization programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data management, analysis, and reporting.
• 3+ years of SQL experience, including performant, maintainable queries and production code optimization.
• Advanced experience with data visualization, Tableau or Power BI, interactive dashboards, and user experience principles.
• Strong statistical expertise, including descriptive and inferential methods, hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and confidence intervals.
• Experience integrating and synthesizing multiple data sources, data wrangling, and data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and scalable data solutions, including AWS or GCP.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data quality assurance.
• Advanced programming experience with Python or R for workflow automation and complex analysis.
• Experience defining and evaluating KPIs, modeling, and performance metrics.
• Expertise in clean, version-controlled code, Git, code review, modularization, and documentation.
• Applied skills in SQL, AWS Analytics and Database, Teradata, Tableau Server, Alteryx, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, query construction, and dimensional data modeling.
