Business Insights Analyst II (US)

Location: Remote, United States; work location listed as New York, New York, United States of America. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Salary: $76,290–$125,260 USD annually.

What you will do

• Analyze curated and aggregated DataMarts using business subject-matter expertise to generate actionable insights.
• Develop analyses, visualizations, presentations, and collateral to explain business trends and opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs, execute accurate data requests, and support day-to-day analytics delivery.
• Identify growth, revenue, monetization, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities and recommend business actions.
• Investigate data and analytics issues, validate findings, develop proof-of-concept analyses, and contribute to KPI identification.
• Partner with functional areas, business stakeholders, and management; lead small project workstreams and educate users on integrating analytics into decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience; higher-degree education and research tenure may count toward this requirement.
• Advanced experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and other programming languages.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply business knowledge and strategy to produce relevant analysis and materials.
• Ability to use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to interpret and present data clearly.
• Ability to work independently as a senior analyst or subject-matter expert, oversee work end-to-end, and support short- to medium-term issues.
• Ability to identify and manage risks, follow internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and validate data accuracy.
• Undergraduate or advanced technical degree preferred, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science; a graduate degree is preferred.
