Analytics & Solutions Consultant (Power Platform)

Location: Hybrid role based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with an expectation to work from the Milwaukee office three days per week.

Salary: $118,960–$178,440 per year. Geographic-specific pay structures may apply, including $130,880–$196,320 and $136,800–$205,200.

What you will do

• Acquire, cleanse, combine, structure, and document data for analytical consumption.
• Consult with data consumers to identify meaningful datasets and develop a single source of truth across the company.
• Design, develop, deploy, and support data analytics products using Microsoft Power Platform, cloud technologies, and continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Build data flows, dimensional and relational models, data lake solutions, and analytics products for business and machine learning use cases.
• Participate in agile story authoring, sizing, demos, testing, and product feature development.
• Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, communicate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of professional experience in data acquisition, cleansing, feature engineering, debugging, documentation, and software development.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and related Microsoft Power Platform services.
• Strong Python, SQL, cloud computing, and ETL skills, with advanced programming ability.
• Experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes, distributed data systems, columnar storage such as Parquet, partitioning, and data quality or testing practices.
• Understanding of analytics, data science, machine learning systems, requirement-driven data modeling, and regulations concerning PII data.
• Ability to work in the Milwaukee office three days per week in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS analytics services such as S3, EMR, Spark, PySpark, RDS, JupyterLab, and SageMaker.
• Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, Heap, Tableau, BusinessObjects, or other ad hoc analytics tools.
• Agile, DevOps, consulting, and data analytics product experience.
