CMMS Engineer (SAP PM)

What you will do

• Create, maintain, update, and assure maintenance master data in SAP PM, including asset registers, maintenance plans, maintenance items, task lists, and Bills of Materials.
• Process master data change requests and perform data quality checks, audits, validation, cleansing, benchmarking, reporting, and standardisation.
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, performance improvement, engineering projects, and brownfield projects.
• Provide first-line CMMS support, resolve system queries, train users, and promote effective SAP PM usage.
• Support CMMS enhancements, upgrades, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
• Analyse maintenance and operational data, develop KPI reports and performance metrics, and collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing SAP PM master data, including asset registers, maintenance plans, task lists, and Bills of Materials.
• Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and maintenance data management principles.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and performance management processes.
• Experience maintaining and improving data quality, accuracy, and governance within maintenance or asset management systems.
• Ability to analyse maintenance data, identify inconsistencies, and support process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in oil and gas, energy, or other asset-intensive industrial environments.
• Experience using Power BI or other reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies, maintenance AI tools, or digital maintenance solutions.
• Experience supporting CMMS upgrades, enhancements, testing, or deployment.
• Knowledge of maintenance reliability principles and asset performance improvement initiatives.
