Business Applications Manager (Microsoft Dynamics)

Location: Weybridge, Surrey, United Kingdom; four days per week onsite is mandatory, and remote or predominantly home-based working is not an option.

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 per annum.

hirify.global is recruiting for a well-established UK company specialising in the distribution of high-end fragrance and beauty products.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day management, support, configuration, maintenance, and development of core business applications.
• Act as the primary in-house specialist for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the existing NAV environment to ensure reliable daily operations.
• Gather requirements from business departments and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of the planned migration from NAV to Business Central in January 2029.
• Coordinate with external technology providers and software vendors, while developing reporting solutions with SQL and Power BI.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or both.
• Previous responsibility for supporting, maintaining, or managing an ERP platform as an internal specialist.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and working with SQL queries.
• Understanding of operational workflows across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, and warehousing.
• Excellent analytical skills for investigating technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience collaborating with third-party IT providers and software support teams.
• A proactive approach to application ownership, continuous improvement, and business systems optimisation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI and business reporting tools.
