Integration Engineer (Oracle ERP)

Location: Hybrid from the Zurich office with 3+ office days per week, or remote from anywhere in Europe; regular visits and stays in Zurich are covered for remote employees.

What you will do

• Own integrations with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite, and JD Edwards, ensuring market fit, usability, and reliability.
• Design and implement interfaces using REST, SOAP, direct database access, and file transfers.
• Explore ERP systems and determine effective integration approaches.
• Build new ERP integrations in close collaboration with pilot customers.
• Maintain existing integrations end to end, resolve issues, and document solutions for other engineers.
• Enable technical project managers to consult on, install, and configure mature integrations.

Requirements

• Hands-on integration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite, or JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally with more than one; experience must include building or maintaining interfaces rather than only functional consulting or key-user work.
• Experience with the native interfaces of at least one supported ERP: Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP web services, FBDI, ERP Integration Service, BI Publisher or BICC; NetSuite SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, SuiteQL, SuiteScript 2.x, and token-based authentication or OAuth 2.0; or JD Edwards AIS Server, Orchestrator, BSSV, and Z-file interface tables.
• Good understanding of purchase-to-pay data in Oracle ERPs, including suppliers, purchase orders, receipts, and supplier invoice matching.
• Solid programming skills in at least one backend language. Go is used for integrations; Java, C#, Python, or similar experience is acceptable with willingness to learn Go.
• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Structured and self-reliant working style, ideally with client-facing experience.
• Fluent English.
• For the Integration Engineer level: 2+ years of hands-on integration work, in-depth experience with one Oracle ERP and its interfaces, ability to deliver and maintain integrations independently with architectural guidance, and willingness to learn from and share knowledge with senior colleagues.
• For the Senior Integration Engineer level: 5+ years of hands-on integration work, including several years with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite, or JD Edwards; experience across at least two supported ERPs or Oracle and other ERPs in cloud and on-premise environments; coaching or mentoring experience; and ability to own Oracle integrations end to end and set technical direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with both cloud environments, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and NetSuite, and on-premise JD Edwards environments.
• Extensive SQL experience and familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, REST/SOAP APIs, and SFTP.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Integration experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or other ERPs.
• German language skills.
