Senior Technical Consultant (ServiceNow)

Location: On-site in Erskine, with locations also available in Newcastle or Farnborough; applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and meet applicable UK Government and contractual security and residency requirements. The role also involves working from home and travelling to client locations or client sites when required.

What you will do

• Design and implement ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, scripting, data design, conversions, integrations, and technical infrastructure components.
• Participate in client workshops and requirements gathering, then advise on solution designs and recommendations.
• Develop, test, demonstrate, and support solutions through UAT and go-live.
• Provide technical consulting, thought leadership, and hands-on development to clients and internal technical resources.
• Mentor and train junior consultants and produce solution documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in ServiceNow design and development, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with experience building custom applications and integrations.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS, PowerShell, and MariaDB.
• Understanding of Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principles, and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present solutions to customers and senior management.
• Ability to work in the United Kingdom and meet applicable government and contractual personnel security requirements.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, Application Developer, or ITIL Foundation certification.
• Additional ServiceNow experience or certifications in HR, CSM, FSM, Service Portal, CMDB, SAM, Discovery, ITOM, ITBM, or PPM.
