(Junior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Operate and continuously improve Azure- and Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and design, implement, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor platform health and reliability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and related tools.
• Investigate incidents, production issues, and infrastructure problems while supporting stable and secure deployments.
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and long-term platform architecture improvements for development teams.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor for infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Good understanding of Linux systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Strong ownership and responsibility for production environments.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style.
• Very good English communication skills.

Hiring process

• Initial remote introduction with the recruiting team, approximately 30 minutes.
• Technical interview with the potential manager.
• Personal team meeting, ideally on site; the process consists of three interviews, with at least one via video and two usually in person.
