Learning Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Europe, France, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, or the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Manage the infrastructure for content-as-code workflows, including testing and previewing content pull requests, automated releases, course checks, and updates.
• Lead the Learning team’s adoption of AI and GenAI by building prompts, tools, workflows, agents, and student-facing AI experiences.
• Write and maintain provisioning and grading scripts for hands-on certification exams.
• Debug issues affecting learners, instructors, and exam candidates.
• Build and operate observability and analytics for learning tools, including usage, failures, catalog health, dashboards, alerts, and user activity.
• Design and maintain hands-on lab environments across all training formats.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with technical curriculum development focused on databases and/or distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience in technical education infrastructure or DevOps, including lab or sandbox environments.
• Experience with machine learning applications and/or GenAI for content generation, developer tooling, and AI agents.
• 3+ years of experience building certification infrastructure, including grading scripts for hands-on assessments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
• Self-motivation, ownership, accountability, the ability to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing clear runbooks and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and the ClickHouse database.
• Experience with one or more cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, support, product, and development teams.
• Technical degree, such as Computer Science or a related field.
