Specialist, Application Development - Engineering Operations Tools & Application Development (Golang)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, integrate, upgrade, and enhance Golang Teamcenter libraries, NX ufunc, Capital Harness DRC libraries, and other reusable codebases.
• Develop and manage microservices within the technology stack and integrate backend systems with web applications.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient backend systems and advocate for appropriate designs based on requirements.
• Troubleshoot API integration, microservices, and program security control issues and implement approved solutions.
• Manage autonomous projects, prioritize work against program and business requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional, infrastructure, architecture, program, and enterprise teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and deliver results in uncharted digital environments with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of software development experience focused on backend systems, or a graduate degree plus two years of such experience; eight years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Active Secret clearance at the time of hire.
• Understanding of Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue, or equivalent languages.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture implementation.
• Familiarity with PLM tools, CAD/CAM, and custom-developed applications or systems supporting the ISR business model.
• Experience integrating tools into a PLM suite, including simulations, requirements management, MBSE, or other specialized engineering tools.
• Experience with Teamcenter RAC and/or Active Workspace.
• Hands-on exposure to large data migrations and transformations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, adaptability, and independent-working skills in a fast-paced environment.
