Software Engineer II (Golang/Cloud): Building and maintaining business systems and integrations for corporate technology with an accent on cloud applications, REST APIs, relational data, and production support. Focus on implementing tested software, diagnosing performance and security issues, and supporting deployments, observability, and SOX IT General Controls.

hirify.global is a large homebuilding company with a corporate technology organization supporting business systems and operations.

What you will do

Clarify functional and non-functional requirements with product owners, QA, designers, and technical leads.
Build and maintain applications, APIs, reusable software components, and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Implement unit and integration tests and participate in functional and performance testing.
Support production deployments, incident triage, observability, security remediation, and troubleshooting.
Document features, APIs, test results, and technical decisions while participating in code reviews.
Maintain systems aligned with architecture, security, change-management, and SOX IT General Control standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or an equivalent field with 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a relevant master’s degree.
Experience building or deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with familiarity with microservices and containers.
Proficiency in at least one modern development language such as Go, Java, or C#.
Experience designing relational schemas, writing SQL, and working with front-end development practices and frameworks.
Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Experience working in Agile teams with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

Experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or banking.
Hands-on experience with Golang, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
Postgres experience.
