EMEA Solution Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; Munich, Germany; Paris, France. Travel across the EMEA region is required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of Solution Engineers supporting EMEA observability opportunities.
• Partner with Regional Sales Directors to build territory strategy and align technical resources with high-value opportunities.
• Coach the team in delivering demonstrations and proofs of concept for ingesting, storing, and querying high-volume logs, metrics, and traces.
• Guide customers migrating observability workloads to the Snowflake AI Data Cloud using Snowpark, Streamlit, and Cortex.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical discovery, architecture design, and competitive positioning against legacy observability platforms.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and represent Snowflake at EMEA field events, executive briefings, and industry conferences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solution engineering, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales, including experience with data platforms, cloud, or observability technologies.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a pre-sales or customer-facing capacity.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces, and the modern monitoring landscape.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and SQL, with the ability to communicate credibly with practitioners and executives.
• Experience selling or implementing technical solutions for enterprise customers across EMEA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to travel across the EMEA region as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, Snowpark, Streamlit, or Cortex.
• Experience with Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Elastic.
• Experience migrating large-scale telemetry or machine-data workloads to a cloud platform.
• Additional European language skills.
