Senior Solution Engineer (Solution Suite)

Location: Hybrid, based in or willing to relocate to Mannheim or Munich, Germany; approximately 25% travel required.

What you will do

• Own solution engineering engagements across DACH and the EU, from discovery and platform deep dives through demos, RFPs, security reviews, proofs-of-concept, and customer decisions.
• Translate challenges in supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track and trace into concrete solution scopes.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations across the hirify.global HUB and its modules.
• Architect customer integrations with SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, data warehouses, identity providers, and procurement systems, advising on data flows, security, and scalability.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, and technical value propositions; mentor junior Solution Engineers and contribute to enablement materials.
• Feed structured industry and competitive insights back into Product to improve the roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, technical consulting, or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in at least one core domain: supply chain risk and compliance, carbon emissions and decarbonization, or product compliance such as DPP, EPR, or PPWR.
• End-to-end ownership of complex enterprise deals, including proofs-of-concept and security reviews, with experience handling deal sizes above €250K ACV.
• Strong technical fluency in REST APIs, JSON, SSO, SAML, OIDC, AWS or Azure cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
• Business acumen to connect regulatory or operational challenges to ROI, TCO, and deployment roadmaps suitable for CFO approval.
• Regular use of AI for research, demo preparation, and RFP work, with a clear perspective on building an AI-driven version of the role.
• Proactive, structured, calm under pressure, and comfortable presenting to boards as well as working in Postman.
• Outstanding communication skills in German and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mannheim or Munich, with willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow.
• Relationships with local system integration partners, Big Four advisory practices, or ESG and compliance industry associations.
• Exposure to AI or LLM workflows in enterprise SaaS.
• A third European language beyond the candidate's primary national language and English.
