Warehouse Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: Pozzuoli, Arco Felice, Italy; onsite at the industrial plant.

Gross annual salary: no less than €32,000, plus an individual or collective variable incentive based on predetermined performance objectives.

What you will do

• Organize and coordinate daily receiving, storage, handling, picking, and shipping operations.
• Assign tasks to and monitor the performance of Forklift Operators and Warehouse Forklift Drivers, directly supervising a team of 6–7 operational employees.
• Supervise goods receiving, quality inspections, system registration, material storage, location, and preservation.
• Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy; coordinate periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health, safety, environmental, and waste-management regulations, including waste documentation.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Transportation, promote logistics process improvements, and manage customs documentation and files.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience managing logistics or industrial warehouses within medium-to-large industrial companies, including supervising and coordinating operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, logistics processes, inventory control, and stock-management techniques.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and waste-management regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Leadership and people-management skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Data-analysis and reporting capabilities, effective communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
