Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Partner with regional and global sales teams to design tailored payment solutions using acquiring, FX, payouts, and stablecoin remittances.
• Conduct technical discovery, map client infrastructure, identify integration requirements, and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Architect compliant cross-border payment flows between Southeast Asia and regional or global markets.
• Lead technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, preparing solution diagrams, integration guides, and technical proposals.
• Scope proof-of-concepts, guide sandbox testing and integration planning, and support clients through launch.
• Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams while collaborating with sales, legal, compliance, customer success, integration, and global presales teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or solutioning technical role, preferably in payments, fintech, or SaaS.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required for technical pitches and presales support with enterprise clients and stakeholders in Mandarin-speaking markets.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs, including the ability to read code samples and explain technical concepts to engineers.
• Experience working with regional or global enterprise clients is essential.
• Ability to whiteboard solution architecture, troubleshoot API calls, translate technical capabilities into business value, present to CTOs and lead engineers, and handle objections.
• Ability to uncover client needs and propose creative, compliant solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and internal alignment.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, product, engineering, legal, compliance, customer success, and integration teams.

• Familiarity with payment flows, acquiring, FX, and/or payouts.
• Experience in zero-to-one environments and ambiguous problem-solving.
