Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Salary: CAD 150,000–170,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee FP&A consolidation for the global Credit segment, including forecasts, business plans, quarterly non-GAAP results, and management reporting.
• Own the OneStream FP&A system, including system changes, enhancements, utilization, forecasting, and analysis.
• Review consolidated forecasts, actual results, business plans, key drivers, trends, variances, and corporate forecasts before senior review.
• Manage quarterly timelines and coordinate earnings, forecast, actuals, and Credit segment submissions to BAM.
• Prepare profitability analyses and quarterly results presentations, and present results to senior management.
• Lead collaboration with finance teams, portfolio companies, and the Credit segment’s largest subsidiary while managing 1–2 Financial Analysts and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline and a CPA designation.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Financial Reporting.
• 1–2 years of professional finance management experience.
• Expertise with MS Office, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to assess complex situations and make clear recommendations.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication skills, professional ethics, and commitment to continuous improvement.
