Senior Financial Analyst, PBB Finance

What you will do

• Lead annual planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and three-year strategic planning for Personal & Business Banking.
• Analyze line-of-business results and prepare financial reports, presentations, and performance commentary for senior executives.
• Deliver ongoing and ad hoc analysis, recommendations, and decision support for business and finance leaders.
• Develop controls and processes for gathering, validating, reconciling, and allocating financial information from multiple sources.
• Coordinate analysis of regulatory capital, economic capital, balance sheet, market share, and competitive performance metrics.
• Partner with senior leaders across Finance and the broader bank on strategic planning, methodology changes, and regulatory impacts.

Requirements

• Experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, financial modelling, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Experience with banking financial statements and Canadian personal and commercial banking, including lending, deposits, net interest income, fee income, pricing, and balance sheet mix.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Degree in Business or a quantitative discipline.
• Current accreditation and good standing in an MBA, CFA, or CPA designation.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Understanding of regulatory and economic capital metrics.
• Knowledge of banking source systems and reporting environments.
• Additional MBA, CFA, or CPA credentials combined with relevant banking or financial institution experience.
