Senior Financial Consultant, Reporting (Power BI/Alteryx)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-141 Bay

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and AUM reporting across mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting, including the transition from legacy Excel reports to interactive self-service solutions.
• Source, cleanse, transform, and validate data from multiple systems while maintaining reporting controls and data quality.
• Provide analytical support and reporting solutions to leaders and partners across Sales, Product, Finance, Strategy, and Operations.
• Automate recurring reporting with Alteryx and identify opportunities for process improvement and stronger controls.
• Gather requirements, document processes and test plans, and support user acceptance testing for reporting projects.

Requirements

• Experience in analytics, business intelligence, management reporting, dashboard development, and data transformation using Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and business-partnership skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Current CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential in good standing.
• Knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, AUM, and investment or financial-services reporting is an asset.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
