Financial Reporting Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid workplace

Salary: CAD 130,000–164,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and ensure accurate, timely GAAP reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, consolidations, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and group reporting across multiple entities.
• Own accounting policies and technical assessments for revenue, capital assets, foreign exchange, and functional currency matters.
• Manage statutory filings, tax submissions, annual audits, external auditor relationships, and issue resolution.
• Optimize NetSuite, reporting structures, finance workflows, data quality, integrations, and recurring accounting automation.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including leading or reviewing close and reporting functions.
• Experience with IPO readiness or public company standards.
• Strong foundation in GAAP reporting, IFRS, US GAAP, consolidation, accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Experience improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting in a scaling organization.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation is strongly preferred.
