Engineer, Service Systems (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Act as the central technical interface across design engineering, manufacturing, technical support, quality, marketing, and field operations throughout the product life cycle.
• Optimize system serviceability, reliability, diagnostics, design tolerances, cost of service, and service revenue performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of hardware, software, tooling, technical documentation, knowledge management, and training.
• Analyze data during beta and sustaining escalations and create executable action plans for Customer Service Engineers and Technical Support Engineers.
• Define spare-parts stocking plans based on reliability, diagnostics, inventory cost, training level, and related factors.
• Perform hands-on Alpha/Beta system integration and serviceability validation; support beta-site installations, upgrades, and escalations with travel of up to 20%.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or optics engineering.
• Hands-on and system-level troubleshooting experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to work across mechanics, electronics, optics, and software technologies.
• Strong analytical and data-analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, productive, consistent, and able to work as a team player.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical support, product engineering, NPI, manufacturing design engineering, or design engineering.
• Experience with hirify.global products.
• Reliability engineering experience.
• Software knowledge in Python or Visual Basic.
