Electrical Engineer

Location: Singapore, SGP; travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation is not eligible.

Global materials science and engineering company developing and servicing equipment used in semiconductor chip and advanced display production.

What you will do

• Design and modify electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop expertise in AC power distribution and apply electrical concepts including three-phase power calculations, circuit protection, and sensor principles.
• Create CAD drawings using E3S CAD and contribute design changes that support manufacturing and product quality.
• Perform engineering analysis, troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems, and implement solutions for product issues.
• Generate test reports and alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components, identify critical part sources, and assist with electrical product specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Understanding of electrical and electronic component operating principles.
• Understanding of complex polar and Cartesian calculations for power calculation and estimation.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work under general supervision.
