Associate Engineer, Integration & Yield (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support process integration and yield engineering for semiconductor technology development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Analyze yield performance, electrical test data, inline metrology, and defect inspection data to identify yield limiters and process issues.
• Perform data mining, statistical analysis, Design of Experiments, and process performance monitoring to support root-cause investigations and process optimization.
• Support technology characterization, qualification, release activities, and Statistical Process Control implementation.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects targeting yield, quality, cycle time, and cost.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation; support excursion investigations, corrective/preventive actions, and cross-functional engineering projects.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or another related engineering discipline.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, tool support, equipment improvement, technical chart analysis, and equipment readiness activities.
• Ability to follow safety practices and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
• Candidates without prior work experience may apply; comprehensive training and development are provided.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, or similar activities.
• Project management skills, including innovating and executing solutions and navigating ambiguity.
• Strong interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Basic proficiency with Excel, JMP, Spotfire, Python, or equivalent analytical tools.
