Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Identify, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex mechanical engineering problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and related processes.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
• Lead or execute projects, develop suppliers, specify critical parts, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Coordinate manufacturing, installation, procurement, and assembly while ensuring adherence to applicable standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
• Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information and build consensus.

• Knowledge of the hirify.global product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
